Lainey of Coffee Time Romance & More gives 5 Cups! I adored following Keely from the young childlike girl to blushing teenager then the aspiring young woman through the centuries. It is a modern take on finding love between humans and faeries alike, we see them intermingle and at times intermarry and laugh and cry and root for them all. It is a fun and light-hearted tale that will keep you going, and with a bit of faery dust, you are transported to many different eras and locales. Ms. Rogers brings you full circle from Keely and Shaylah to Keely and her own adventure, you do not want to miss finding out who she meets, and that is all you get, no spoiling the fun now. Read Lainey's entire review. 5 Hearts from Book Reviews by Crystal! Ms. Rogers has captured the Historical side of Faery Land with the language of the time periods, clothing, as well as the description of surroundings. I felt like I could see myself in this book. The characters are wonderful creatures that make you laugh out loud and wonder from story to story about what sort of trouble they're going to get into. Read Crystal's entire review. Detra Fitch of Huntress Reviews says 5 Stars! Ten couples and ten romances within one terrific book! Princess Keely seems to pop into each story somehow. The first romance story begins in England, the year 1199. With each tale the years pass and eventually end up in the United States of America. As the reader, it was as if I journeyed through time and history with Keely, who gets her own romance story in the end ... with an interesting twist. Author Jacquie Rogers has a winner with this gem. Recommended! Read Detra's entire review. 5 Clovers from Marilyn Rondeau of ck2s Kwips and Kritiques! Believe me when I say, this entire volume has a delightful collection of stories! This impressive author took the concept of the young faery Keely and brought her through the ages (Faeries live thousands of years, don’t cha know!) from pesky adolescent to adulthood. In each story she is sometimes charming, sometimes bossy, but always amusing in her antics and smart aleck dialogs. Each tale is charming all on its own and you will learn a lot about faery life from this wonderfully conceived and precious collection of short stories that will entertain you from the first to last page! Read Marilyn's entire review.
"A Whimsical Romp" Keely first appeared on the scene in Faery Good Advice, a short story from No Law Against Love anthology, and it was soon seen there would be no holding her down. Now you get to know this sassy faery, special dispenser of romantic advice, along with a whimsical romp through the ages. Nine tales show Faeries and humans falling in love, proving love is the best thing there is. So if you are looking for a delightful book that could tickle your funny bone, try this one woman anthology and Faery capper through history. It even has naughty bits!! Rogers is a strong storyteller and demonstrates she has a wonderful voice and the vision to boldly go into Faerydom where no faery has gone before. Read Deborah's review in its entirety. Tammie of Night Owl Romance gives 4 Hearts If you like short stories with lots of laughter, fairy magic and love make sure you pick up your copy of Faery Special Romances. From the first page this book makes you laugh. From then on out you will continue to laugh and love though each of the ten wonderfully magical fairy stories. Heaping pinches of Faery dust & Four Stars from Faery Special Romances is a collection of short stories that all have one thing in common, Keely, daughter of Queen Yana, whom we watch grow from a young Fairy, into a striking woman. She matches 10 different couples, one of those whom will remain nameless. You'll have to read to find out who it is- wink * and they ultimately become soul mates, but each one scratches their head in wonder as to why she chose whom she chose! These stories are filled with humor, sensuality, plenty of lust and most importantly love!
"Become Enchanted" says Become enchanted within the pages of this very book and enjoy the many pages this magical story has to offer in the life of a Faery. |
